A virtual private network (VPN) being the extension of a private network encompasses links across a shared or public networks like the Internet. Thus with a VPN one can send data between two computers emulating a point-to-point private link across the network.
Moreover, Virtual Private Networking is an act of creating and configuring a virtual private network. The VPN connections allow users, while working at home or travelling, obtain a remote access to the server of an organization using the infrastructure provided by a public network like Internet. From the user’s perspective, the VPN is a point-to-point connection between the computer e.g. connection between the VPN client and the server of an organization. The exact infrastructure of the shared or public network is irrelevant, because it appears as if the data is sent over a dedicated private link.
However, at PTPL what we ensure is secure connectivity and data transfer without any link breakage. Once the connectivity is made we check whether the data transfer is done in a secure environment prioritizing privacy at the highest degree of concern.
